In this splendid corner of the northeast of Italy, Nature has gifted us the opportunity to have an extraordinary Pinot Grigio, which is a recognised Ambassador of Friulian wines throughout the world.
The particular microclimate of the region enables the grapes to achieve a distinctive balance during the growing season, translating into wine which is recognisable for its personality and finesse.
The magic of this wine comes to life in the vineyards where the watchword its respect for the vine. In the winery, then, all we do is to give voice to the essence of the grapes.
From our “Le Fredis”, “Codis”, “Mattia” and “Cortello” vineyards. 5,500 vines planted per hectare, trained using the Guyot method. Yield of 75 ql/ha.
Meticulous hand selection.
Soft pressing of the grapes immediately after harvesting. The juice is cooled and decants naturally, eliminating particles resulting from vinification. Fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature.
Aged on the noble lees in stainless steel for 6 months with frequent batonnages.
Intense golden yellow with copper nuances.
Golden delicious apple and honey with mineral undertone sustained by an elegant salinity.
